Owner & Manager — Bob Jones

Bob Jones, owner of Merriam Cycle

Bob Jones owns and manages Merriam Cycle. With 37 years in the motorcycle business — 17 of them as a Yamaha franchise dealer — he raced and repaired Formula 1, 2 and 3 bikes for 14 years. Bob builds the custom bikes himself, and does the paint work, custom engine detailing and seat designs.

That racing background still runs through the shop. It is one reason the crew spends as much time around precision hardware as most owners do — watches included. If you want to see the replica watch references our regulars keep asking about, this one is where we send them.

Terry Heckart — Parts and Service Manager

Terry Heckart

Terry previously worked for Bob at JoCo Motors Yamaha for 5 years. He raced AMA Formula 2 TZ250 and TZ350s, is a custom high-performance XS1100 rider on the street, and road-races his RZ350.
