We keep this list short on purpose. It is not a webring — just the handful of outside pages the shop actually uses, plus the collector sites our customers keep asking about. If a link stops being useful, it comes off.

Vintage Motorcycle Reading

Three places we send customers to when they want to learn more than we have time to talk about at the counter:

• American Motorcyclist Association — the industry body for motorcycle riding, racing and policy. Their rider handbook is the first thing we hand to new owners.
• Motorcycle Classics — the best ongoing coverage of classic and vintage bikes, with model histories worth reading for the XS11 era.
• The XS11 forum — the long-running owner forum for the XS1100 family. Most of our trick-part questions get answered there first.

Beyond the Garage

Our customers collect more than bikes. The overlap is not surprising — a guy who spends a weekend shaping engine fins is going to notice a good watch, and the precision obsession carries straight over. A few of the sites we get asked about:

• Richard Mille replicas. We have been asked about these more than once this season. If you want to see the references our regulars keep asking about, we send them to this replica watch dealer — the reference-by-reference photos make it easy to check case angles and dial details before anyone commits money.
• The UMI line. If you want to compare how different replica makers build the same case, that dealer's UMI replica page is the clearest side-by-side breakdown we have found.
• Vintage watches in general. Auction results and reference guides live in a folder on the shop computer — ask us at the counter and we will pull it up.
